Winter 2014 Japanese Drama that I want to watch

Okay, as people may concern, dramas that I decided to follow even before they start airing it are based on actors/actresses that will be in it, their pass series that I have watched and love, the summary sounds good etc etc.

So, for Japanese Drama for Winter 2014 Season, this are a few drama that I want to watch.

First of all, of course I will watch 'Shitsuren Chocolatier' because Matsumoto Jun will be in it. Matsujun + chef outfit are definitely plus!

And when I read the summary of the drama, it sounds okay to me, definitely something attractive to watch and anything related to food genre is definitely my cup of tea.

Shitsuren Chocolatier will be start airing on January 13th, 2014 at FujiTV. This drama is airing every Monday at 9:00pm.

Second drama that I will definitely watch is 'Iryu Team Medical Drama' Season 4. SEASON 4 I TELL YOU!!! When Season 3 appeared, I go beyond crazy because who doesn't want to watch the smexy Dr. Asada. Yummy~ and I love the whole medical, surgery and rivalry that they potrayed and I learn a lot about medical thingy by watching this drama and also, it can't be help that Sakaguchi Kenji look delicious. Okay, I stop now... XD

'Iryu Team Medical Dragon 4' will be start airing on January 9th, 2014 at Fuji TV. This drama will be airing every Thursday at 10:00pm.

Next is a drama SP that everyone has been waiting for. 'Kagi no Kakatta Heya' Who can resist that Enomoto Rei/Ohno Satoshi's sexy smirk. Haha~ The concept of the drama itself are quite interesting and there are a lot of unanswered question at the last episode (read: diamond) Did he steal it? Dis he not? Dotchi? Anyway, just for the fact Ohno Satoshi, Toda Erika and Sato Koichi are in it, I will definitely watch any drama that this 3 person are in it.

This special episode will be airing on January 3rd, 2014. Tanoshimi!!!!

And last but not least, Kindaichi Shonen no Jikenbo ~ Gokumun Juku Satsujin Jiken is a must watch for me just because I love all the Kindaichi series and Yamada Ryosuke is the 4th Generation of Kindaichi from Johnny's Entertainment. Oh, and their shooting location is Malaysia, which is my country...anyway, I will definitely watch this one.

This SP episode will be airing on January 14th, 2014 at Nihon TV. 

What I can say know that I am waiting for all this drama to start their airing...it might be bored or might be really interesting but what I can do now is wait for it calmly.

How I encode videos to smaller size using Handbrake

Well, just wanna show how I encode my videos to smaller size using Handbrake. Just take note that this is how I do it and I believe there might be better ways from someone who have more knowledge than me. Anyway, lets get started!

What you need is:
1. Handbrake (download it here) Download and install
2. Bitrate calculator (You can google it) I used the website here.

First, what we need to encode the video is the length and the audio bit rate. Just right click the video you want to encode and click properties. Go to Details tab and find length and audio bit rate

As shown in the picture, my length is 2 hours 04 minutes and 56 seconds or it shown as 2:04:56. My audio bit rate is 381kbps.

Then, go to the online bitrate calculator or any bitrate calculator you are using and fill the required infos.

I filled hours, minutes, seconds and audio bitrate with the info I get from just now. Then, 'MB required' is how big the video you want it to be. My video that I want to encode now is around 1.4Gb and I want to encode it to 500Mb size, so I put 500 there. Press 'Calculate' and take note of 'DivX 5/x264' avg bitrate which is stated there after calculation is 59

Then open your Handbrake software. Press 'Source' and click the video you want to encode

Then, go to 'Video' tab, click Avg Bitrate and filled it with the calculation bitrate which in my case is 159. Tick both '2-pass Encoding' and 'Turbo fist Pass' because I found out the video quality is better when you do 2-Pass Encoding (or is it just my opinion? XD XD)

Next, go to 'Audio' tab and depending on your choices but I prefer the audio rate to 128kbps, so I change it to 128kbps.

Then, press 'Start' and wait for it to finish encoding. Usually, I will do all of the above step but I didn't press start but I 'Add to Queue' and after I done about 5 - 10 videos, I will start encoding when I go to sleep or work.

You can see the progress down there. Anyway, I didn't really take note how long it take to encoding one video but I think as usual, it is depending on your computer.

I am not a professional and I am so noob regarding computer hardware and performances but I just wanna help.

And I make this tutorial to help my loveable junior. Atiqah, learn it well, learn it well.... XD XD

Sometimes you might be failed because the audio rate is like 1224kbps

And your video length is like 43 minutes

And you can't count the bitrate because it says it is not possible to count the bitrate if you want to encode it to 300Mb

That, when it happen, it might happen to you, I can't help you because I can't figure it out either... >.<

Platina Data will be in Malaysia??

OH MY GOD!!! I just, oh my...cannot believe it.

As I read it here, thank you to them for translate it, it seems like GANTZ, Platina Data will be available at Malaysia's cinema. Dunno which company yet but I will certainly go and watch it at the cinema because this kind movie is soooooooooooo good watching it in cinema.

Wen I first become involved with Arashi (read: fangirling) on 2009, the first thing I notice other than Matsujun-sama, is an idol who is also a newscaster....I was like what the heck? They can do that?

As I got to know more about each individual persons in Arashi, I have a lot of respect towards Sakurai Sho. Not only he is busy with his career as idol, he also went to Keio University, one of the prestige university at Japan.

Rapping, graduating university and become newscaster is 3 points that he inserts in Johnny's Jimusho.

Anyway, even though I respect him in that way, I like him in Arashi because he is dorky around them, he is caring for them and he is definitely the kaa-san...

Always be dorky, always be happy and stay the way you are, Sho-kun because me, as Arashi's fan, love you guys just the way you are. The good and the bad....

And my fantasy, I want you to marry Matsujun...kyaaa! 

New single for Aiba's Last Hope...yay!

Aiba Masaki appears at the stage greeting for his starring drama 

In the drama, Aiba will be playing the role of a doctor for the first time, and that day, he made an appearance wearing a white coat. When the emcees of the event, Fuji TV announcers, Nishiyama Kikue and Nakamura Mitsuhiro, complimented Aiba how cool he looked in the white coat, Aiba showed a smile, and said, “Am I that cool? I’m gaining self confidence now. I think I will show the cool side of me more this year.” 

As reported, “Last Hope” is a medical suspense drama which features a team of doctors who engage in advanced medical care as the “last stronghold” for the patients that were given up by other doctors. It also shows the hidden pasts of those doctors. Aiba’s role “Hatano Takumi” is skilled in diagnosis as he figures out the patients’ symptoms by checking their heartbeat through his stethoscope. 

According to Aiba, he was always wearing a stethoscope around his neck even at home while preparing for his role. He said, “I also started to listen to a cardiac sound CD, but when I was listening to it at night, my heart was beating so fast, which made me scared, so I stopped that right away.” Aiba also revealed that he had a hard time reading the lines with lots of medical terms. 

As one of the highlights of the drama, Aiba mentioned the afternoon snack time which is indispensable for “Takumi”. He said, “The banana cheese tart on the episode 3 was the best one so far.” 

It was also announced that Arashi’s new single “Calling” (to be released on March 6th) has been chosen as its theme song. Aiba explained, “Just like the drama, its lyrics are themed with lives and hopes, and it is a catchy rock number. Since it isn’t very ‘Arashi-like’ song, I had a fresh feeling singling to it.” 

To commemorate the broadcast of the drama, there will be an illumination called “Last Hope Illumination”, in which about 250,000 champagne gold colored LEDs will be lighted in Omotesando for 15 days (1/10~1/14). 

In the end, Aiba talked about his ambitions for this year, commenting, “This is an anniversary year as I will be turning 30. I am glad I was able to start off this year with this drama, and I want to enjoy it. I also want to be active as Arashi.”“Last Hope” will begin airing on January 10th on Fuji TV (every Tuesday at 9:00 pm).

On January 10th, popular idol group Arashi member, Aiba Masaki appeared at the stage greeting for the pre-screening for his upcoming drama “Last Hope” held at Omotesando Hills.

How I spend the night before 2013...

As usual, I spend watching Kouhaku Uta no Gassen because Arashi hosting it!

And Shirogumi win!! Really close win, in my opinion...

Well, everything I write here soon is definitely my opinion and everyone have their own likes and dislikes ok...so lets be peaceful~ 

Anyway, the opening act for Red Team is Hamasaki Ayumi performing 2012 A SPECIAL medley. I dunno what happen but somehow I think there is something wrong. Is her throat okay? Because she sounds different and seems to have a problem singing. 

And opening act for White Team is NYC. I am not a big fan for NYC but I do love Yamada and Chinen but I guess their performance don't really hold any impact on me. Sorry darlings...

I definitely love Golden Bomber performance and the whole white masks! For first timer in Kouhaku, they did give a lot of impact to me for their performance. It is also interested to me because they are air rock band, they didn't even play the instruments...haha...it is fun watching them

This will be the last Kouhaku for FUNKY MONKEY BABYS because they will disband on March 2013 if I am not mistaken, as announced weeks ago. Goodbye, even though I don't really listen to you but I heard a lot about you guys because some of my friends love you guys.

Koda Kumi look really good and sexy! And that is all I remember ...haha >.< because I was focusing on something else that time... hehe...oh and I like Nishino Kana's dress...did she lose weight? Anyway, I think that Kouhaku tweet about she said in 2013 she want to wear lots of pastels...she sure did, everything is in pastel pink...haha

Kanjani8's performance is really good! It is fun and the costume are in multiple colors XD 

Momoiro Clover Z performance for Saraba is cool and all, their 1st costume somehow reminds me of Alice in Wonderland's Queen of Heart. And I think the leader need to work a bit on her stamina because she is quite breathless on 2nd act. But so far because the girls are so cute, I forgive them...haha

A lot of more performance but I am being a bias here just because I love them...I love Arashi's performance. With the whole 3D CG or something like that...love it no matter what and you guys look so handsome and stunning and elegant and awesome and splendid and etc etc XD

Anyway, congratulation for White Team for their win. Speaking of the MC, Horikita Maki is a bit nervous all the time because she stumbled her word a bit but for first time hosting, I think she do good. 

Anyway, this is how I spend my night before 2013. Kouhaku ended on 10:45pm and the rest of the night spends on Tumblr for the gifs and all.....
